I have spent my entire life worrying if the people in my life know how thankful I am for them and how special they are to me.I remember when I was little laying in bed crying and praying to God that He would make sure my family knew how much I loved them. I would worry I wouldn't have another day to love them. My biggest fear was losing someone I loved without them knowing just how much I love them. I have always tried to think of different ways to show each and every one of them how much I care about them or brighten their days the way they brightened mine. But as I'm writing this, I'm thinking what could I possibly say to these people that I haven't already said? Don't get me wrong, there are days I'm completely selfish and lack consideration for others. But I have always found happiness in knowing I have made someone else happy or brightened their day, even if I receive nothing in return or receive something out of it. So, I believe telling you all every single reason I can possibly think of that I am thankful for you will bring me even more happiness than I already have.

Mom

I am thankful for your laughter. Every time I hear your (loud) laugh my heart is automatically on fire with joy. Your laugh is so contagious. I am thankful for all the times you sat by me while I cried over mean girls or stupid boys. I am thankful for every. single. bit of advice you have given me over the years. Even if it was something I did not want to hear at the time. I'm thankful for every spanking and every mouth popping you ever gave me for back-talking you or Dad. I am thankful for every single prayer you have ever prayed for me. I am thankful for the times you prayed with me, and also the times you prayed over me when I couldn't find the words. I am thankful for every, I mean every yummy meal you have ever cooked for me. I am extra thankful for your unbelievable cooking skills :) I am thankful for your heart. I can only pray to have a heart like yours. You are so incredibly loving and kind. Thank you for showing me the gentlest and kindest form of love even when I deserved a good head beating. I am thankful for your friendship. I have never known a friend truer than you. Because of you I know the true meaning of friendship. I am thankful you always preached "Vengeance is mine said The Lord." I am very thankful for that. I am thankful you taught me to always put others before myself. I am thankful you took me with you to meals on wheels. But most of all, I am thankful for you. Because of you I am who I am. I am full. I am happy :)

Dad

I am thankful for every single second you put into my sports. There was never a game or practice that you were not at cheering me on. I am thankful for your giving spirit. You give and give until I honestly believe there is no more left to give, and somehow you find a way to give more. I am thankful for your knowledge of the Bible. I am thankful for your ability to forgive. No matter what. You have shown me that even the things that seem unforgivable are forgivable. I am thankful for all the years you have worked harder than you should to provide for us and give us everything we want/need. I am thankful to have a Dad that always, always makes sure I have everything I need. I am thankful for every prayer you have ever prayed for me. I am also thankful for the life you have given me. Without you, where would I be? Who would I be? I am thankful you always pushed me to be the best possible version of me. I am thankful that my dreams are your dreams too. Even though I fuss at you every week and hate that you worry about me, I am thankful you worry about me. I am thankful for Moose ;) I am thankful you have always shown kindness to even the ones who may not have deserved it. I am thankful for your quirky humor. I am thankful for the days you let me sit in your lap and eat peanuts with you. I am thankful for every single egg and mayo sandwich you have ever made for me. I am thankful for our daily phone calls. I am thankful for every spanking and every time you put me in timeout. I am thankful you did not send me off to boot camp when all I knew how to do was scream at you. I am thankful for your patience - I am very thankful for your patience. I am thankful for your unending love. Your love has no limits, I'm sure of it. 

Reagan

My Reagan. You. I am so thankful for you. You are everything I want to be. I am thankful for our friendship. Sooo thankful for our friendship. Because of you, I have always had friend that has never failed me. I am thankful for the person you push me to be, even when you don't realize it. I am thankful for your heart. Your heart is truly made of gold. I am thankful for your pig nose and the laughter it has brought us :) I am thankful I have you to get in bed with when I am being a baby and scared of the dark. I am thankful for your sassiness(yes I just said that). I am thankful for sense of style - because let's be honest, I'm a little lacking in that subject. I am thankful for your promptness. I am thankful for your love for The Lord. I am thankful you are so much prettier on the inside than the outside(if that is even possible). I am thankful for your underwear drawer. LOL. I am thankful for every game you sat through(even if you didn't want to) and loudly cheered for me. I always heard you over everyone :) I am thankful for our differences. I am thankful for every time you sat by me and listened to my long and dramatic stories. I am also thankful you have put up with my screaming for 16 years now. I am thankful for every piece of advice you have ever given me. I am thankful for your knowledge. You know so much about things I never even knew existed. I am thankful for every. single. moment I get to spend with you. I am thankful you love me through my mistakes. I am thankful for your bold spirit. You are honestly my hero.

Chandler

Chany......... Honestly what am I thankful for? LOL JK. I am thankful that you are so gentle. I am thankful I can be my loud and annoying self with you and you somehow still love me. I am thankful I know that I am always safe and taken care of with you. I am thankful for your stubbornness. I am thankful for your loyalty. I have never known someone as loyal as you. I am thankful for your family. I am thankful you put up with my bratty attitude every day. I am thankful I have someone that is so giving. You would give me everything you had without batting an eye if I asked. I am thankful you support my crazy ideas - like taking me on a cruise, or buying me a dog :) I am thankful I can come to you about anything and everything. I am thankful you are so unbelievably protective. I am thankful you are so smart. You are so much smarter than I am. I am thankful for your humor(even though I will never laugh at your jokes). I am thankful you are laid back, but yet still uptight. I am thankful for every single time you have put me & my wants or needs before yourself. I am thankful you work so hard. You are literally the hardest working person I have ever known. I am thankful you can somehow overlook my moodiness. I am soooo thankful that you always, always find a way to make me feel so incredibly loved and lucky. No one will ever understand how lucky I am to have you. I am thankful for our jokes. I am thankful for all the netflix shows we start and never finish. I am thankful you pay attention to every little detail. I am thankful one of us has a good memory ;) I am thankful for your constant love and support. I am soooo thankful for those two. I know that no matter what, at the end of the day, I have you and that is good. I am thankful for every time you prayed for us. I am so thankful God made you for me. I am thankful I am not whole unless I am with you. I am more myself with you than I am by myself. I am also thankful for your sweep me off my feet charm:) Thank you for standing by me. I am thankful for the example you two have set for me. I can only pray I have a relationship like yours. I am thankful for every time you have cooked for me :) I am thankful you two see me for who I truly am and love me unconditionally. 

Thomas - I am thankful you have given me another perfect sister and best friend. I am thankful you have showed me that giving up is never an option. I am thankful that you have always pushed me to be the best person I can be, even when I didn't want to. I am thankful for every time you stood up for me and fought for me. I am thankful for your heart. Your heart may explode it is so big. 

Kiley - I am so incredibly thankful for your friendship. I am thankful for your unconditional love for Thomas. I am thankful God sent you to us. I am thankful for Tuesday nights watching PLL with you. I am thankful for your patience. Lord knew you were going to need a lot ;) I am thankful for your kind heart. I am thankful for your selflessness. You are constantly putting others before yourself. I am thankful you are so thoughtful. I am thankful you are so much prettier than Thomas ;) (jk tommy). I am thankful for your family. They have been so good to Thomas. I am thankful for your morals and love for The Lord. I am thankful you are my sister. I am so so so thankful for that.

I am thankful for our daily phone calls. I am thankful you always listen to me and allow me to ramble on for hours. I am thankful you always put everyone before yourself. I am thankful you work so hard. Papaw just doesn't know how lucky he is ;) I am thankful for every pillow or blanket you have ever made for me. I am thankful I can always call you and you will completely drop what you are doing to talk to me. I am thankful you are so giving. I am thankful you are so loyal. I am thankful for your love. Where would I be without your love? I am thankful for your cooking. I am thankful for every text message I get from you asking how my day is going or what I am doing. I am thankful for our friendship. Our friendship has gotten me through some of my hardest times. I am thankful for your humor. There's not a time that I have ever been with you that I have not laughed until my stomach hurts. I am thankful for your advice. You always know exactly what to say. I am thankful that God chose you to be my Grandmom. I am so incredibly lucky to have you.

Papaw
Yes, I saved the best for last... go ahead and gloat ;) I am thankful for your sense of humor. I like to think I got mine from you :) I am thankful for your giving spirit. You have always found a way to give to others, even when you did not have it. I am thankful for every mistake you have ever made, because you are one wise man :) I am thankful for every well thought out nickname you have come up with for each grandchild. I am thankful you did not send mom off to another family in her young, rotten years :) I am thankful for every game or event you showed up to with a smile on your face for me, even though it hurt to sit through. I am thankful for all the $20 bills you have given me over the years (you know I couldn't leave that out!) I am thankful for our walks to the little store every time I came to stay with you growing up. I am thankful for your love for ice cream. That was secretly one of my favorite things about staying with you. There was always an endless amount of ice cream, and you always let me stuff my face with it. I am thankful for your support. I know I will always, always have your support. I am thankful for your kind heart. I believe mom got the perfect combination of your heart and Grandmom's heart. I am thankful for all the weekends you took me to Limited Too and let me pick out any outfit I wanted. I am thankful for all the trips you took Reagan and I on. I am thankful for blacky.... but only because you always used it on Thomas when he was picking on me :) I am thankful to have a Papaw like you. You do not know how much I cherish you and look up to you. I love you more than you will ever know.

Gaasshhhh I am so thankful for you. I am thankful I met you. Where would I be without you? I am thankful for the influence you have on me. You are one of the best people I have ever known. I am thankful for our identical personalities. You have filled my life with so much silliness and joy, you honestly will never know. I am thankful for the friend you are to me and the friendship we share. I don't consider you my best friend, I consider you my sister. Through my hardest times, you have completely supported me and somehow found a way to keep me laughing. You have showed me the purest, happiest and most loving form of friendship and for that I am beyond thankful. I am thankful for the nights we spent trying to cook dinner. I am thankful for the mornings we tried to cook breakfast. I am thankful you hate sleeping alone just as much as I do. I am thankful for our trips we have taken. I am also thankful for getting lost multiple times on those trips :) I am thankful for your sweet family. Mike and Tina really know how to raise em :) I am thankful that though we don't live in the same town anymore, not a day goes by that we do not talk. I am thankful grad school is coming around the corner and you are moving back to Boone with me(yes I said you are). I am thankful for your love for The Lord. There is no greater friendship than one with Him in it. I am thankful for all of the times you have driven up to see me. I am thankful you drove up just to sit with Chelle and be there when I got out of surgery. I am thankful for the bond we have. I am thankful that I know, no matter what, you and I will be old wrinkly friends. I am thankful you know everything that goes on during my days, even though you may not be with me. I am thankful for every. single. thing you have ever done for me. I am thankful for all the times you stood by my side and stood up for me when I couldn't stand up for myself. You will never know how thankful I am for you. They don't make them like you anymore :)
